Kriol – grammatical survey

In 2013, three linguists wrote a chapter on Kriol for a linguistics book called The Survey of Pidgin and Creole Languages.

The chapter is written for linguists, but it is not too technical. If you have some basic knowledge of linguistics or understand a lot of grammatical terms then this chapter should be accessible. It is only short (and therefore called a ‘survey’) – about 10 pages long – and is a great overview of Kriol and some of its key grammatical features.

The chapter was written by Felicity Meakins, Eva Schultze-Berndt and Denise Angelo. It can be downloaded from the website Academia here: https://www.academia.edu/6532767/2013._Kriol
